We are honored to invite representatives from Government of Georgia for the upcoming conference in United Nations Headquarter NY, USA. This conference brings Public Officials representatives from City halls, Local self-government and Municipalities together to exchange the ideas, broaden their outlook and contribute to the round t

able discussions on Sustainable development Goals.

We call on the Local Self-government sector to engage conference. We recognize that the active participation of the governmental representatives can contribute to the achievement of sustainable development goals, to advance sustainable development initiatives, taking into account the importance of corporate social responsibility in the country.

SISG conference will be on the Sustainable Development Goals using support resources from United Nations and other credible sources. In July 2011, the UN General assembly passed a resolution inviting member countries to measure the happiness of their people and use this help guide their public policies. The integrated, interlinked and indivisible 17 Sustainable Development Goals are people’s goals and demonstrated the scale universality and ambitions of the new Agenda.

We are meeting at the time of immense challenges to sustainable development. Billions of cities continue to live in poverty and are denied a life of dignity. There are enormous disparities of opportunity, wealth and power. Gender Inequality remains a key challenge. Unemployment, particularly youth unemployment is a major concern. The spread of information and communication technology has great potential to accelerate human progress. We would like to show the way how to build strong economic foundation for your country, Sustained, inclusive and sustainable growth is essential for prosperity. Registration is Open.
