Celebrating International Women’s Day at Gracie Mansion!

Newsflash: it’s the 21st century – dads change diapers now. But it’s not always easy for men to find a changing station. That’s wrong – it bakes in gender stereotypes and inhibits men from being able to step up as dads. Today’s legislation will ensure that any new spaces built or renovated with a public restroom will have diaper changing stations in all restrooms, regardless of gender, to make sure our parents are able to have sanitary spaces to take care of their kids.

Special Thanks to First Lady Chirlane McCray and The Mayor of  New York Bill de Blasio. In honor of #InternationalWomensDay, thank you to all the women from New York City and around the world who inspire, challenge, and strengthen our communities every day.

CEO of the Powerful Management, Leadership & Technology Center Megi Kurdadze participated into a session to discuss the planning for the upcoming 68th DPI/NGO Conference, that will take place in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2019.

The UN DPI/NGO Conference is the premier event in the NGO calendar at the United Nations. It typically attracts an average of 2,000 representatives from more than 500 non-governmental organizations from over 100 countries. Each Conference focuses on a different UN topic of interest related to the work of civil society and NGOs. This international forum also brings together senior UN System officials, prominent international NGOs, academicians, public opinion makers and international media to discuss issues of global concern.
